While I'm familiar with the termination and manufacturing of these kinds of patch cords, I don't get too involved in them on a day to day basis. That's such high frequency stuff compared to the coax world. Still, I never say no to an opportunity to broaden my market. I've sent you a link to my company website. Feel free to do the same for me.

With that said, I made a mistake earlier in the thread.
A BNC connector, is not a British Naval Connector. BNC actually stands for "Bayonet Neill - Concellman" named after it's bayonet type center conductor, and it's two inventors.

I won't make that error again.

Hahaha well said. I too have small business dreams... tis hard to give up a comfortable job and lay it all down on the line for say opening up a shop and having all your dreams and finances potentially go up in a cloud of smoke though

Ha. Its funny you put it that way. Im trying to start a glassblowing shop with a friend. It literally could go up in smoke if we dont build the furnace's correctly.

I would give up this job in a millisecond if it was possible.

Is that because you go commando at work?

Not that there's anything wrong with that. Just remember to do up your fly.
And for the love of god, be CAREFUL when you do.

Haha, I don't go commando at work...we wear those thin green scrubs that tie up from the sides. No zippers But, you can see people's underwear from the side holes where the ties are!

Thats not the plan, but........

Last year I was at a Widespread show, and there was a guy selling pipes. Handmade out of recycled beer bottles in a small furnace/crucible he made himself. he was selling these for 10.00 each. He had a box he said had 300 in it, and sold every last one. There is money to be made in the "Tobacco" pipe industry.

Lol literal irony ftw. That's another thing too. A friend and I want to start up a sneaker/T-shirt store in Van somewhere. But I really don't know if going into a partnership with a friend is a good idea. I've seen family members go sour to the point of not talking when they see each other because business partners had different ideas and personalities. I'd hate to lose a childhood friend because he thinks we should stock different kinds of shoes. Haha.

A partnership never worked for me.

There's always one partner who does less work than the other, but is always there on friday afternoon to take his cut of the profit. Then there's the ego problems. How to spend money, how to deal with employees, which direction should we go, etc.

In my case, I just got sick of him coming in an hour late, hungover, then demanding 50% because he's part owner.

Imho, a company needs a single person to make the final decision.
If not, there will be disagreements.
