getting a girls number, home or cell which is better?
I recently got a girls number last night from a chick here at the office but i dont see her often and i was telling a co-worker and he asked if it was her cell phone or home.
I havent called her yet, since I just got it yesterday but I can tell from the exchange the first three numbers that is a home number because a friend lives in teh same area. So is home number better or cell, and why? jeremy

cell. she may not have an answering machine. plus she's more likely to check it during the day than at the end of the day, when she is most tired and just wants to the other guy who got in before you.

Cell, you moron. Why? Mmmm, let me ask you this " How often do you answer your phone at home and how often do you answer your cell?" You can also send her little sweet texts.

Cell is always better.
you know the person answering is going to be them. that way if you can't quite remember there name. you can be like.. "hey, remember me.. the guy.." you don't have worry about missing them each time you call.. and worry if you're being ignored. home can be good to, because you can find out where they live from the number, unless they've recently moved. post the number, we can have fun |

well my friends and most of my female friends said home. The reason why it says she is single and that she does have to worry about anyone else answering the phone.
Remember the Sienfield about cell calls though, and how rude they were. Oh yeah, we cant have cells in our office though, does that make a difference? jeremy |

This is a dumb question. If she doesn't call you, it's not worth it.

Get both. Getting her Cell is one thing but the home phone number means that she trusts you enough to give it to you. Anyone can change their cell phone number or screen the calls but no one want's to change their cell number just to get rid of a dude.

Home phone number.
Again, it shows she is interested in you because she is letting you into her comfort zone - her home. Always ask for, and get, a home phone number. If she won't give it to you, then she is not interested enough in you. Tell her "Thanks anyway" and walk. |

I give out my cell because I'm never home. So if I want someone to be able to get ahold of me their best bet is by calling my cell phone.
You guys are fruit loops.. comfort zones? As long as I can get ahold of her its all good. |

I believe in reality, the cell phone is given out before the home phone. If she only has a home phone it means nothing. A girl thinks less about giving out the cellphone because she can screen and block calls on the fly. If she doesn't want to talk, she hits off and sends you to the voicemail. If you call again, she can block you so you automatically go there.
It can take many dates before a cell phone girl gives you her home phone number. |

Get the cell number, wait 2 days. Call at a random time, with the hope that you will get the machine.
