SlowBoyRacing Turbo's any good?
Can someone chime in on this? They offered me a TD06-20G 8cm2 for a good price and im thinking about buying it over FP, Deadbolt and Blouch.

I actually llived pretty close to their shop and purchased a decent amount of products from those guys and their customer service is A+++ and prices are pretty good to boot. But the 20g over the fp? eh.. look at the specs. I love my fpgreen

SBR do not include banjo's, lines, you have to buy all of the stuff seperate. the FP comes ready to mount, no extra ****e to buy.
all im gonna say is you get what you pay for.. id rather wait 8+ weeks and know im getting a quality turbo.. |

Stay away from turbochargers.com also. The turbos dont have any hard lines either but they dont tell you that.

damn is Slowboyracing that bad? All i wanna do is by a 20G turbo, nothign else. So you guys are basically saying the SBR 20G will most likely fail? Or is it just the customer service that sucks?

lol.. im not gonna say anything else man.. you can either take our advice and the research, or get a turbo now, and end up paying more in the end (banjo's, hardlines, ect).

It was good chatting with you, even if it was at 10:00 p.m. and I have been here since 6:30 a.m. - so if I was hard to understand - that is why.
http://www.slowboyracing.com/estore/...at=1403&page=1 Mitsubishi water line kit, they look better now - this was a prototype kit. http://www.slowboyracing.com/estore/...at=1403&page=1 Oil line kit - except he will also get a 12 mm banjo bolt and banjo adapter to 4an since he is going with MHI turbo. You can see all the kits here - http://www.slowboyracing.com/estore/home.php?cat=1403 No reason not to get the right parts, unless you talked to Pookie here - then who knows what you will get ---- I have no issues helping everyone here personally. Good question,
I think it has a lot of variables. A few of them - Engine displacement (more a difference in actual TQ than maybe HP). Turbine housing size. Turbine wheel size. Internal or external WG. State of modification the car is in, IE - does it have the needed parts to take advantage of the turbo. I have seen 6H 20G's on my dyno make 370-385 WHP - and I am sure it is capable of more on the right car - and tuner. Mike Huml Slowboy |

I have a Slowboy 20g on my car that I bought used from a local guy for a good deal. It's not a bad turbo IMO. I made 353/399 with it on 91 with meth injection. I still have a TMIC and IWG which are holding me back but my EWG will go on next week and a FMIC soon after.
