Coolant flush + ancillary hose install. Also got new snow tires as well!

Side question: Has anyone drove a lowered car in the snow before? I'm heading to the mountains soon and currently deciding if i should raise my car a bit. There's about 2.5 inch gap in my wheel well.

I just take off my front bumper in the snow and call it good, never had an issue. Im making a "winter bumper" for next winter but thats just for the large ice chunks right after the plows roll through.

My back up plan is a 1991 lagacy I might pick up for poops and giggles. Lol

I posted info along the way on my build thread, if something is missing there it is likely in the weight reduction thread. I have done a LOT when it comes to removing lbs seeing its "free power" and is the only modification that helps EVERYTHING.

Default What did you do to your Subie today? [Version 4.oh]

Drove it to work without a clutch! Just had a performance clutch installed and it went totally out on me.

Update: no longer drivable. Have a trailer on its way to pick me up. I’ll be taking it back to the same subie performance shop that just installed it. Hopefully they’ll get everything right this time.

Removed stock DP, UP, Headers and complete air pump system on my 06 WRX... tomorrow I install the new goodies.

It’s is weird or sad that I listened to the Baby Driver soundtrack while working?

Well...hmmm. It’s weird. But not necessarily in a bad way. I get it

Installed the goodies:

AP UEL headers (Don’t judge me!!!)
Cobb UP (coated)
Cobb DP (coated)
Air pump delete plates
STi TMIC

Funny though... I thought there’d be a little more rumble, I guess the stock muffler is more restrictive than I thought. Next up is an etune from Torqued Performance.

I had a clutch installed at the end of November. I’m having it replaced now because it’s worn down to metal. Don’t ask me. It was an ACT heavy duty street clutch recommended by both shops I talked with.

So I’m going to go with a 6 puck now at the recommendation of the shop. Hopefully it will last longer than 1 month. That’s not long!

IAG air oil separator. Fixed a vacuum issue that my shop committed. Pretty much done with my drivetrain for now. Next stop will be a different turbo.
