I rather look at a well used dirty engine, than a garage princess that is all show, and does not get used . its like having a bad ass car and never using it.. oh wait, that is exactly what it is like ... boo... and you can shove those sparkle princeses where the sun dont shine, oh, yea, that is where they are kept, in a closed garage.

.. Ditry as*mofo engine 350 whp daily driver FTW .

whats wrong with having a super clean 400-500awhp engine bay AND have it be your daily driver?

clean and tucked 350whp daily driver here. soon to be even cleaner and more tucked 550whp daily driver.

now the real question is why would you come into a thread titled shaved, wire tucked and custom engine bays if you just want to bitch about how dirty is better. dirty shows to me you dont care about your car cuz i use mine then clean it. but if you never want to clean your engine bay thats fine to just dont bash people for wanting theirs clean

No finished pics, but here were the in process pics. Took the main harness that exited by the downpipe and routed it through the fender:

this thread fails at having Subarus for the most part

There's a reason shaved/wire-tucked hasn't taken off with subarus - too much essential junk in there with the boxer motor... Unless its like a stripped out race car.

i was trying to sell the car but since no one wanted it im redoing it motor is out and getting built and the car is getting repainted and the bay will be extremely clean and tucked when its done. i will have plenty of pics when its all done but that will be a long ways away.

re-locate what? LOL

I'm not keeping any of that garbage, it's going to be shaved/tucked. LOL

ABS is gone, ran custom brake hard lines through the fire wall in the wiper cowl.

Don't need power steering.

Don't need those other holes besides that one for my full-race i/c piping.

Don't need the boost syinloid, got hydra and an avcr.

Driver sides fuse box is in the fender.

Battery is in the trunk.

Took out the window washer.

Fire wall was completely shaved.

Frame rails were completey shaved.

I could keep going here...haha

I thought race cars normally don't have power steering.

I editted the post. Originally I had just the one teaser shot, but then posted the stock photos so you would see how much work went into it. I believe it's a 40hr job to do the engine bay...

Race car! With nice parts to make it look nice.

There is nothing about this engine bay that will not scream fast. Seriously, its built to be badass at everything. Looks, jdm, hellaflush, low, and fast. REAL fast.

Thats hot, what classes do you plan on competing in? Lots of NASA classes, and events on that side of the country. Been a few years since trucking has taken me that far east, nice place tho lots of sweet tracks.
