take a look at www.clutchdrop.com , there is a calander there that outlines a lot of the events.

If I'm not mistaken there is a dyno day today.. and a garage day tomorrow.

I am from New Britain. This website is very cool. I don't know a whole lot about cars but I do like my Subaru.

Thank for making me feel welcome. I sort of feel like a loser cuz I'm reading these other threads and people seem to know all about cars. I'm kind of regretting not getting the WRX because it's just such a cool car, but I probably would have ended paying about $5,000 more than I am now. My car came with fog lights but no spoiler. I was thinking about getting one put on, but if I had extra money I would get a better sound system. I love jamming my cd's on the way to work in the morning. It gets me going!

Hi Michelle!

Don't worry -- I knew nothing about cars six months ago when I joined this board... I still don't know nearly as much as many of the people here.

Welcome to the club!

Michelle, welcome to the club, and you are officially invited to Garage Day at my house this Sunday. (Football will be seen too! Go Pats!)

There will be many subie newbies there, so you will be one of many. Check the Winter Garage Day thread for my address, etc.

Again, clutchdrop.com is the place to go for the calendar. Yesterday was the Team O'Neil rallycross and plenty of girls showed up. I counted at least a dozen spectating and five or six driving. Here's Tasha (tygab) ripping it up in Aaron's (m750) 2.5 RS (and yes, that's a Trunkmonkey hanging in the back window):

Not sure who she was, but she was doing quite well:

To see all the pics from the event, check out the posting here or go right to the gallery.

Fear the Trunkmonkey. There is no cone.

Default Subaru owner for 2 weeks now...

I am glad I was told about the i-Club site, and now I am glad someone posted the address to the NewEngland specific site - gotta find some time to check it out later.
I figured boring `ol CT wouldn't have much of a "Subaru community". Looks like that is probably wrong since quite a few people mentioned that they are from CT.

I have never been to one of the 'Scooby' events, but they seem cool. I gotta try going to an event soon - I wanna do "Stuff" to my car, and love hearing different suggestions from peope that have actually experimented already - learn from their mistakes

Has anyone 'heard lip' from their dealer because they have done modifications to their cars, when it came time for warranty repairs?????

Smile Hi Michelle

Welcome to the Crew......

Did you just get your 2.5? Reason i ask is becuase I was at Schaller Subaru the friday before last ... if remember correctly .... and saw a Blue Ridge RS w/BBS wheels being prep'ed (Was picking up some parts for my subie) ...was that yours ? If so ... very nice ... first RS I've seen with the 17 wheels ....... Good taste!

There are a couple spoilers out for it allready ....... Speakers are good too though if you need any help , Just ask -

Enjoy your stay with the board

I did get my RS at Schaller, but I got it in April 2001. I wish I waited to get it so maybe I could have gotten a better deal, but my Ford Probe GT was dying. Seems that Subaru's new year models come out about 6 months before the actual year and the hype is big, so I probably didn't get the best deal I could have. My car actually does have 17 wheels. Nice to see other CT people as well.

Enjoying springtime here in CT? This weather is nuts. My snow tires are dying.

Don't let the crazy technical talk scare you, a lot of us are learning constantly (read: me) and get scared when we pump our own gas

This place is a great resource... anything you want to know, just ask!

Well the STi decal kit I sell at http://www.rallydecals.com add HP.

The SCCA decal doesn't add HP, it just helps improve the handling.

The apple decal... well is it the 'new' apple or the 'old' apple? Hehe
