Thumbs down

I think the new body of the Impreza is ugly.. The only thing good about it is the wheels and hopefully it will have a good system

Can we put the fender flares and the rims on the fake spy foto. That would be a cool car. Come on you photoshop guys!

What I don't understand is this. Some say the back is alright, not exactly awe inspiring. But look at our current models! I could fall asleep if it weren't for the mid wing. MY98-00 rear ends look like the older Altima rears.

But I still like it.

That's the ugliest car ever. I don't care how fast it goes if it looks like that. I'll keep my 99 thanks.

Did anyone notice there is a second car (in silver) parked behind it. You can see the left headlight and the side vent of the front bumper.

Actually I think this is at the port like they originally said. In the background you can see ships and the water. Only fishy thing is why they blacked out the sticker for the window.

After the initial shock of the new look, and staring at the pictures all day...I really like it! Flame me all you want, it has grown on me! Who cares if it looks part Neon, part Focus, part Altima....the most important part is all Subaru. All 2??HP of fire breathing turbo charged AWD...I can't wait to test drive the 5-door!!

I also see that the seats have adjustable head rests. I guess that's the end of the standard Recaro race seats too. Maybe Subaru by saying "Next Generation" Impreza means they are going for a different crowd entirely. They are no longer interested in the nich market they created. Seems to me they are after those who would normally buy the low end Audi or a Grand Am. Hmmm. Well, I'm proud to be part of their "Previous Generation" Impreza.

My personal opinion on the car. Looks great from the side, and rear. With a nice large wing on the back im sure it would look very similar to a 2.5RS coupe.

The front shot above is a funny angle to judge, from that angle I would say it looks funny. But I really need to see a head on, 20 degree angle type shot, rather then a ****-eyed off to the side one.

My guess is in 2002-2004 they make a 2 door, throw on a "rally inspired" front end, give it slightly more power, and then there it is.

I guess, i'll have to guy a turbo for my RS... I really like the idea of getting factory waranty on a turbo car, but that's just too ugly, even for me to handle...

The car looks like a neon with euro corolla lights and ugly shape with the back of a toyota echo grafted on... The scoop looks like an afterthough, slapped on at the last minute, and the fender flares though interesting, don't match this car very well...

Bottom line, if you like it, good for you, but for my money, it's tooo ugly...

I believe someone once wrote the quote "it's been marinating in ugly"

I think that it fits pretty well...

Cool

I like two things about the car:

1) The wheels kick ass.

2) I like the fender flares.

That hood scoop looks WAY out of place on that car. Like they sorta slapped in on ya know?

But the over-all look is pretty good I think. Good car for my parents perhaps...but not me. Me like Rally Style.

Did any of you notice that the car is LEFT HAND DRIVE? It is either coming to us, or Europe, or South America.

It is a WRX but with no wing. Odd.

Again, the flairs and wheels kick!!

Did anybody notice the following?

1. This pic is of a LEFT-HAND drive model.. (for the US?)
2. Where is the spoiler?
3. If you look closely under the WRX badge, it has another solid metal badge... (I hope it say 2.0 Turbo!
4. It looks like there is some sort of black-out mark where the old side marker lights used to be. (Weird,, that a look just behind the front fender flare.)
