Congrats. Definitely worth the wait once you hit boost the first time.

I ended up cancelling my order - my local dealership wasn't trying to find anything for me, just wanted an order =/.

I ended up getting in contact with Rafferty Subaru, they have a SWP STI Limited with Nav comming in. They hooked me up, got my name on it, and now my ETA went from July/August to April 22. I'll shoot over some pic's once it comes in. I have to fly out to PA but oh well cheap flight from Chicago ($120 ftw).

Car is now with the changes I had them do:

2013 STi Limited Sedan w/ Nav
SPT Performance Exhaust
Body Side Moldings
Homelink Mirror w/ Compass
All weather mats
STI front lip spoiler
SPT CF B-pillars
SPT CF trunk trim
SPT CF license plate cover
STI valve stem caps
Engine dress up (SPT oil cap, battery tie down, heat shield)
Subwoofer
Wheel locks
Illum kit (red)
Boost Gauge (I bought OEM and shipped to them since Subaru is out of stock @ port)
Rally Armor Mud Flaps (road tripping 1000 miles back home, want to avoid scratches)
Rear bumper cover

When I get there, I'll have a JPM coachworks shift/e-brake boot set with red stitching, Cobb front plate delete, Cobb shorty antenna, and a S204 shift knob waiting. Already did the flip-key mod, just gotta get the key cut and put in the transponder.

So pumped - only been wanting an STi since I was 12 so...

If anyone is in the NWI area and looking to do an STI but isnt buying one for a few weeks/months, my dealer will have one in a few months =P (my old order, less add-ons).

Only reason I ask is that I'm a BMW tech. 135i is a good car, but I totally understand the trade.

Congrats!! I love the practicality of the hatch, but my inner-boy-racer won't be content without the monstrous wing on the sedan.

Pics!!

Going to place an order for a 2013 SWP WRX 5 door tomorrow, trading in my 07 STi.

I talked to the dealership on the phone today and they told me it would take 8-10 weeks for the car to come in, but it looks like a lot of you guys are waiting even longer than that?

Has anyone been quoted different wait times for different trims/colors/options or is it all the same? Oh well, at least I'm driving an STi while I wait

This has been a lemon of a car for me actually. I originally was deciding between a 135i and the STI and since the dealers gave me a hard time to test drive it I went with the 135i instead and biggest mistake ever. I've had it in the shop at least 4 times before 10K miles. I had an idler pulley snap off at 7K miles and going @20mph through an intersection in 2nd gear.

Ouch, only seen that a couple of times. I assume the other reason for being in the shop had something to do with the fuel system (I.e. injectors or high pressure pump)

You sure your ordering a 2013? Only reason I ask is I was pretty sure the cut off date for ordering a '13 was April 1st.

Sure you didn't miss the boat? I don't think you can order '13s anymore.

Actually my 2011 came with the HPP installed. I know that was an issue with the 2008-2010 N54's. I had the FMR module go bad also which caused a lot of issues with the windows going up and down and no turn signals. I've had it in the shop for Adaptive headlamp module going bad twice.

Better be, I talked to 3 different dealers who all said they could order one for me and they all quoted me 8-10 weeks.

Who knows, I guess I'll find out for sure tomorrow! Maybe I'll just get a BRZ instead

Yeah. 2013 stis are pretty much impossible to order. Unless they trade around dealerships and find you one that way.

Just called one of the dealerships back and was told by the sales manager that they hadn't fulfilled their allocation yet so they would still be able to put the order through.

Worth a shot I guess.
