Unhappy Boost Leak Help

My 2012 WRX feels like it's down on power, and I was wondering if someone with more experience could help he figure out what to check.

I ran an engine diagnosis on my accessport but it's not pulling any codes, it's not leaking any fluid or knocking at all. I think it may be something related to the turbo or air intake because it''ll whistle and whine when I'm making boost and not have the same power. I didn't know if I should check any hoses/valves that may commonly have boost leaks.

Only work done to the car is a catback exhaust and the accessport. I want to avoid taking it into the shop unless I really have to.

Start by checking the bypass valve vacuum hose. It can easily fall off.
If it checks out, then check the bypass valve gasket and remaining hoses connecting to the bypass valve.
If all of these look good the it would be wise to take off the intercooler and check the hoses for the turbo and throttle body. Make sure the hoses are properly attached and that the clamps are tight.
I just replaced my TMIC and realized how bad of shape all of mine were in.
Surprised I didn't have a leak myself beforehand.
I had an issue after the install and it was because my hoses weren't properly installed.

Check the turbo inlet hose as they get brittle were it connects to turbo

You can get a leak tester on amazon for like 120 bucks. I've used mine more times than I can count on my project wrx. Might be a good investment. One place I had consistent leaks was the base of the tgv deletes. Also, user in another group had a mystery leak that ended up being the gasket on the arm for the throttle plate.
