It baffles me when people confuses Corollas being a Honda.

I was pulled over one night, the cop let me go with a warning due to the preceding conversation we had while he was at my window. When we went to check my id and insurance, he came back and asked "this is a Toyota isn't it?" I said no sir it's a Subaru, he takes a look bad at my badge and said "well I guess it is then huh?" I died laughing

Just got my car inspected. The shop has multiple locations. After, he says there is no wrx/sti or even impreza in his computer. Furthermore, he says, is it a 2.2. I said no 2.5. He said, I don't have a 2.5 option for any Subaru. Ultimately, the record sent to the state police says "Subaru car 4dr."

Nothing was said but the other day on my way home from work a Fiat 500 Abarth crept up next to me on the highway and hung just in front of me in the passing lane. After about 15 seconds I started to wonder what the hell the guy was doing and then he decided to down shift and take off. It didn't even register at first what he was trying to do. I was surprised how quick it did take off but the guy that was car pooling with me just laughed and said "I know what this thing can do, I can't believe you let that roller skate with an engine go."

I went to autozone and as I pulled in a guy in a newer outback put his arm out the window with a fist and yelled "SUBARU! That's how it's done!"

That thing goes like stink when you consider it's got a 1.4L motor! Kinda weird to be taunting a WRX when even a chipped Abarth is slower than a stock WRX.

Fast or not, the 500 Abarth does have one of the greatest sound stock exhaust systems put on a car in a long time.

Their insanely loud I sold Fiats not long ago and have a few customers who've received complementary exhaust tickets.... And I know everyone has this perception that "racecars" are fast but the thing I like about the Abarth is I can push it to its limits ~20mph over the speed limit where a WRX/STI you better be hauling ass to here those tires screaming! My last customer traded in a beautiful 24k mile stock 05 STI for that reason!

Was finishing up drying my bugeye at a car wash and I think the owner/manager I can see is kinda eyeing my car, as he walks toward a different bay I gave him a head nod, he gave a nod back and said that thing can go anywhere cant it? I replied, pretty much. Just gave me a smile.

that 05 STI with 24k miles would be worth almost as much as a new Abarth

New Abarth $22000 (MSRP), STI sold for $24,000. I actually helped the customers sell the car privately, manager wouldn't put good money on the Subbie because "book value" was dirt. So yea it could pay for an Abarth with sales tax/fees after a little discounting!
