My VLED DRLs are still intermittent. It had looked as though if I turned the key and let the needles do a round then start the engine it helped, but that was a false hope.

My workplace has handfuls of 1 ohm 50 watt resistors laying around, so I though I may make myself a load resistor setup to see if it doesnt fix the problem. Guess it gets thrown in before the decoder/driver box...

That's so strange that that happened. I would send the VLED's back and tell them they malfunctioned. You want some load resistors? I have 4 6 OHM resistors laying around that I will never use again.

Ill take 6 1ohm resistors in series for free over 1 6ohm resistor at shipping cost. Hell, I may not even need 6ohms.

Appreciate the offer though. If they dont work in the end Ill return them for the jdmtoys.

No prob man. Tryin to get rid of these resistors. The jdmtoys are working great so far. They come with their own load resistor and it works well. The only annoyance I ran into was twisting them into the housing to lock in. But eventually I got em in after fiddling around.

I'd go 22 rear sway bar with Kartboy rear end links. That's what I did and it's been great

I went straight from 16 to 22. I got mine off Craigslist but if you go to Perrin.com and look under 08+ wrx you will see the rear sway bar listed

With the hellas I payed the extra and got a very professional looking setup (mounting bracket and wiring harness). It's worth it. Luckily they have military discount!

If you get the hellas with the mounting bracket and wiring harness get ready to trim half an inch off that stupid plastic piece in between the grille and the radiator. Otherwise your setup will look like this!!! It's only one side you have to trim. I used a ruler to mark it and a band saw to cut but I'm sure any dremel would do.

The bracket and harness made life sooooo much easier. I can't even tell you how much work it saved. I just popped the bumper off, installed my grille, threw the hella bracket onto the hood latch screw hole (highly recommended) and attached the harness to the battery and trimmed that piece. Done. What sucked was getting the bolts out of the back of the horns!!!! I was doing that for 30 minutes.

Yes the are exactly as I wanted them to be. Loud as hell. Get that relay too. I think it comes with the wiring harness. Boosts the sound twice! Otherwise they sound a lot weaker.

Next question are there any updates on bucket seats? I chose the 2.0i purely based on I hate leather especially on seats, so any form of fabric bucket seat I'll jump at the chance ASAP

CARID.com has some options available. I haven't heard of anyone putting them in yet. WRX seats would be nice haha.
