There are several routes you could take. Id personally look for an 06-07 gearbox since they are geared differently!

I agree, that is going to be tougher to find and cost a bit more though.

i'm full of questions these days.. and wanting to buy things.
i'm trying to pickup some 06 wrx rims tomorrow no tires.
in my store we have 215/50ZR17's i can pickup for cheap.
I know it suggests 45's.. but will the 50's be okay on my 03 wagon? (stock suspension)

Hey anyone have experience installing the spt boost gauge for 2011 wrx's? I know someone made a YouTube video and I think club wrx has pictures but anyone have actually installed one here? I think my only issue that will delay the install time will be running the vacuum line through the firewall.

any reason you got the SPT? when you go stage 2 pro tuned itll be useless. if i were you i'd sell it and get a Defi racer...no need to run vacuum lines just one wire to the engine bay.

however there is a grommit behind the top mount which comes out to the center of the dash, and another grommet that comes out from the foot well (thats where i ran all of mine).

regardless its really easy, dont sweat it. have a beer and dig in. thats what i do and so far it seems to be working out.

I got the SPT because it was cheap ($150 brand new from someone who didnt want it), is plug and play (plugs into factory wire harness without soldering), and dims with all the gauges. I just wanted it for looks, and to monitor my boost levels at stage 1. I didn't want to mount my AP and one day get it stolen from my car.

It's not a bad choice defi is overrated there is a reason in Japan not alot of people run them. They are good but none better then a lot of brands.
