![]() ruiner, if I come into a job soon, I'd like to upgrade the alternator also. What is the output near idle? and hot vs cold?
I can possibly draw a max of 170A, but I never max out everything at once. Also guys, upgrading or adding a higher gauge wire from the alternator to battery is dead simple. Get a ring terminal and crimp your wire, then put the ring so it puts the wire bulging down. Take off the stock one, put the ring down first, then the stock over it. The red 'bulb' will fit over it all. |
