Academy Award-winning director and acclaimed cinematographer, photographer and professional climber, Jimmy Chin, is collaborating with Disney CreativeWorks, Disney’s award-winning creative agency, to co-create network reveal stories with the Ford team

Ford will share additional content featuring the Bronco lineup’s capabilities and new features on its own social channels

Bronco fans can reserve their Bronco model for $100 each, starting Monday, July 13 at 8:00 p.m. ET at ford.com

ABC
Bronco will be featured in a 3-minute film starring country music singer Kip Moore during “CMA Best of Fest,” the Country Music Association’s three-hour concert experience, airing Monday, July 13 (8:00–11:00 p.m. ET).

ESPN
Film featuring a different Bronco model and professional climber Brooke Raboutou will air during “SportsCenter.”

National Geographic
Academy Award-winning director and acclaimed cinematographer, photographer and professional climber Jimmy Chin will spotlight another Bronco during “National Parks: Yosemite.” Additionally, Chin will judge a hashtag challenge contest and appear in an Instagram Story featuring the Bronco on NatGeo’s Instagram account.

Hulu
On Tuesday, July 14, all three custom films will be available on demand on Hulu. The films will be available to viewers through interactive ad formats, and within a curated collection of outdoor and survival-themed content aligned with the Bronco lifestyle.

Ford Channels
In addition to the films created for ABC, ESPN and National Geographic, Ford also will share additional special content with fans on its YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter channels starting at 8:00 p.m. ET on July 13 – including additional details on the performance strengths of each new Bronco model.

I had the misfortune of watching the movie Rampage on one of the cable channels the other day, and The Rock was driving a new Bronco in the movie. It looked good! Probably the only good thing about the movie. I guess that "leak" of the new Bronco flew under the radar in terms of the timing of the reveal, considering the pandemic and all.

I like the windowed doors. Wish more sports cars would do that outside the Senna.

I dig it, the Black Diamond looks like a stripper version for people that want to modify, which is what Jeep refuses to indulge. I hope Ford kicks the **** out of them and brings Wrangler prices back to earth.

I like the drivetrain options. The styling does nothing for me ......the stuffed wheel well look just throws off the looks even more on top of it. Looks kinda like they were going for the brodozer look. The fender flares could have been done better too IMO.

They did do some useful/cool things like the phone rail and hydraulic sway Barr disconnects.

Competition in a segment that Jeep has owned by itself is good for the consumer.

It doesn't look as natural without doors as the Wrangler does because you can see the inner door frame. Looks like the two door doesn't come with a soft top. And no manual with the larger engine. I believe that on the Wrangler, manual can be had in all trims.
I want to see what a base 2 door looks like.

Same. I would take the cheapest model with manual and just add those doors.

But ultimately, it’s not really going to make a huge difference because it’s not a cheaper product. It might force them to make a better Wrangler, but it’s not going to force them to drop prices.

In the segment they’re targeting, it’s not about value. It’s about capability. Mayyybe Jeep might release a true stripper model to grab the folks who just want the open air experience, but I highly doubt you’ll see the Rubicon become cheaper.

Yeah, reading up on the specs, they definitely knew their target demographic. You're going to see a crapload of these things.

2 door or four door Bronco. 4 door Bronco Sport with fixed hard top only for the soccer mom mall crawlers (Looks like targeting LandRover with the sport).

Now I know why they dropped most cars, they put most everything into this, and I can't say I blame them for this, after seeing what's involved.

I like it a lot, but ... I don't offroad, and I put a premium on on-road sportiness and handling... even then, I really like their implementation and careful thought in making it. My only question, so far, is why didn't they put the 2.7 in the Spork? Only 1.5 or 2.0. May be an option once the configurator is online?

Isn't the 2.7L EB available on every trim as an option? at least that's the way I read it. Wish you could get the 2.7L with the 7mt, and that there was an available NA V8 with 7mt of course.

Bronco Sport only gets 1.5EB or 2.0EB probably since it's more of a mall crawler, soccer mom type vehicle. I saw nothing on the site about any other engines (yet). Bronco gets 2.3EB or 2.7EB.

Riiiight, I was looking at the 2/4 dr versions, not the sport - The sport is a transverse part-time AWD job; it's basically an escape with a boxy body.

I really like a lot of what Ford did with this vehicle; clearly effort was put in to innovate and not just rest on the Bronco name. I'm not a fan of turbo only, or that the manual is only being offered on the I4T, but I've said it before, if manufacturers build vehicles I want, they will go out of business.
