![]() my only question is have these passed NHSTA crash testing?
IF this is real, that is some impressive range. |

![]() Lucid seems to be doing it right. I just wonder how large the 100k plus EV market is? That demographic is probably a good niche to get their manufacturing and support figured out, but it will be interesting to see if they make it. From what i have been told Lucid really knows how to design and setup manufacturing.
The EV market will start to get crowded soon hope they make it. |

Should they have passed all the NHTSA tests before they're even allowed to sell to customers? |

![]() I have a reservation for the Lucid Air just to drive one. They claim that the battery pack is 113kWh I would really love to see a tear down of one them. It seems that Lucid will be a Porsche Taycan and Mercedes EQS competitor at that price point.

![]() Um, it’s more of a Maybach and 7 series competitor. Their aim isn’t leisure track performance.

![]() Lucid HQ is 2 miles away from my home; I have been seeing their cars in and around the neighborhood for over a year now. The car is real and it's kind of a huge bish too.

![]() That’s because their demographic target market is the upper class maybach and 7 series customers. The ceo has stated this several times. It’s not some performance Taycan or Plaid series vehicle.

Hopefully, Maybach / S-class / 7 series customers haven't all moved on to large luxury SUVs. Regardless, they should be able to find plenty of customers in the Bay Area. |

![]() I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if you see a ton of Lucid vehicles become personal chauffeur vehicles to the upper class. Yeah, I see normal upper class people owning them too but this would make a great vehicle for those with personal drivers.

![]() So this isn't vaporware like everyone has been saying about Nikola?
Looks pretty sweet on their website with damn impressive specs. Of course for the money it should be. ![]() |

Lucid is not vaporware. I actually like that they offer a lot for the money and even thought this boat is not a performance oriented sedan still run something like 1:32-33 at laguna seca with a tri-motor prototype. |

![]() Only way I’d buy a lightening or Rivian is with the tax credit. I do agree though, above $90k and the tax credit should probably disappear. If you can afford that much car, $7k won’t sway you.

![]() Kinda surprised they delivered customer vehicles before Rivian. No, I don't count the Rivian's delivered to employees. We'll see if this was just a PR stunt to be able to say they delivered to customers in 21 or if they can keep it up and increase launch cadence.
