Looking at this thread, one can gauge how much interest we have of the 400Z..

As a little know fact tidbit, the 240Z Z432 had a 0-60 under 7 seconds, and while no official record the rumor is the Z432R was in the low 6's.

That was damn fast for 1969.

In 1969 Americans were still slim and trim too.

not sure what your point really is here

If you would rather drive a FiST that your business, power to you!

I will take my old vintage beast all day as I wager it is probably a bit more lively.

Its the BRZ all you have been begging for.

I'm pretty excited for the reveal.

Same. I think we need to see the car, power figures, weight, etc, first. I'm excited to see it as well.

Just teasing that my slowest grocery scooter is faster than your Z. You weren’t supposed to respond. Vintage cars are allowed to be slow as how you enjoy the car is different from modern cars.

Livestream reveal set for tonight 8:30PM EST.

I have such low expectation of this, but maybe they will introduce some very unique technology.

An EV with the soundtrack of the Rebello or Freedom L24 that revs to 9K RPM.

I'd buy that.

So is a honda accord V6. I'd take a bone stock 240z in pristine condition over 75% of new cars under $70k

I like it, from a design pov at least. Profile is true to an old school Z.

TT V6, 6 spd manual, brakes look serious. Wonder how much it weighs, and what the power #s look like... and how much it costs.

I like it more than I thought I would, but thereís something unfinished about it. Is that the production spec exterior or a prototype?

Yeah, biggest downfall of the previous gen is the power to weight (mostly weight and mostly on the front) ratio. Couldn't handle to get out of it's own way and no camber capability, so it ate them tires right up worse than a MINI.
