Default turbo kit for 2002RS?

my friend is buying a 2002 new age impreza 2.5RS
he is from seattle
anyone know is/are there any turbo kit for new impreza RS?

Any of the turbo kits for the MY98 - 01 should work on the MY02 RS since the engine is still the same, IIRC

don't forget to change to a WRX hood or an aftermarket one for the WRX, unless he's running FMIC

really? so even like Minnam kit will still work on new Impreza?
and is the new impreza RS a single cam or twin cam anyways?

As far as I know, it's the same motor as us DarkImpreza, so yes, a turbokit from Technik will work.

The new RS is a single cam engine like the more recent GC8 ones.

oh I see, so far I know Minnam kit, and JC sport kit
are both pretty good any other brand out there?
that is better then these two kit?

Vishnu (Shiv) is making turbokits as well that will be a killer setup but will cost a pretty penny.

I say you just go with Technik's kit (Minnam) since they're local to you and a lot closer for your friend in Washington.

Just wondering... Is the MY02 RS using a MAP or MAF? I'm thinking they continued the MAP.
