Default Problems with brakes, need some help.

I am wondering if anyone has had a similiar problem or knows of what is going on.

I just recently installed new pads front and rear and replaced the rotors front and rear also. The pads are axxis ultimate.

I broke the pads and rotors in and everything felt fine doing this. After break in I got on them pretty hard and they worked really well. The pedal had a nice firm feel to it when pressed, everything sounded good and felt smooth.

I drove the car for a couple days and parked it. I came back a couple days later and my brakes are acting funky on me. When slowing down the pedal will just get mushy after a couple of seconds on the brakes. It kind of feels like ABS is trying to kick in. It doesnt matter if I am barely applying pressure and slowly slowing down or if I am stopping fast.

I checked the fluid and it is above full barely. I didnt have to push the pistons back in for the front pads to fit but I did have to push the back piston in to fit the new rear pads.

Does this sound like air in the system? To much fluid? Something wierd with abs?

I did add a little bit of synthetic brake fluid a little while back because it was low and it was the only thing around. I am not sure if this could mess something up mixing with the other fluid. I didnt think it would.

Sorry for the long post. Any thoughts?

When you changed the pads, did you bleed the brake system?

Did you bleed the system properly, following the factory procedure?
Passenger's Side Front
Driver's Side Rear
Driver's Side Front
Passenger's Side Rear
If not, probably the problem.

If yes, could still have air in the lines. Bleed/re-bleed the brake system and see if this solves the problem.

Have you checked to see if you are leaking any brake fluid @ the bleeders, master cylinder, etc.?

Ill try bleeding the system in that order and see if it helps.
