Default 06 Foglight Malfunction

hey guys this is the first time ive asked for help but maybe somebody out there had this problem...

i bought the fog lights for my TR i put them in (easy as hell) and then i drove it to a friends house who help me put the control arm in and the relay... now when i turn on my fog lights via the new control arm it shorts out my dash and all my interior lights go dim (not completely off, and it doesnt blow any fuses).

After I turn them off it will take about 2min for the dash to fade back in... oooo not to mention the fog lights wont even turn on to begin with too!!! gfg on spending $ for the real subby lights

any input i need a hand....
im about ready to throw some ****

When you say control arm, do you mean the dash switch that comes with the OEM kit?

Did you make sure you put the relay into the right spot next to the fuse box?

there wasnt a dash switch, it was on the control arm for the the headlights

i also went to a subaru dealership and looked at a rex with fogs and were the relay went and i put it in that spot, still no luck

maybe im thinking bad relay?

Your fog light kit should have come with a button that mounts in one of the blanks located on the lower left dash panel. It is not located on the directional turn indicator/headlight lever.
