Default Does this IC look normal to everyone?

I have absolutly no idea what a good or bad IC is supposed to look like. I finally received mine after waiting for 11 months. The welds look like crap but does everything else look normal? thanks!http://i-club.com/forums/showthread....hreadid=100405

Something tells me it's not made by Spearco.

That is a Cartech core, yes. Feel privilidged -- your stage II looks a lot better then my stage III. Your tanks look like tanks, mine look like plate aluminum cut and welded together (very sloppily, I might add). The misalignment is no big deal, it'll work just fine.

It's not quite a traditional intercooler in terms of how it is made, but it is quite effective, take my word for it.

the main differance I see from mine to the other pics is that ya'lls look like radiator type cores wher if you touch the fins, they will bend. Whereas, on mine, the fins are all thich aluminum and very heavy duty. Anyone know the pros and cons?

your core look like it will have alot more pressure drop then a true plate/fin setup. i'm not exactly sure how that one is made. looks like a ton of welding thats for sure.
we'll see how it works out

Wow, at least your stage 2 cartech IC is shinny and doesn't have dents on the end tank... Not like my stage 3 IC... And what was the dimension of the stage 2 IC?

Mark is getting the kit that is/was on my car. a old ASR kit that i modified to work . that is the IC i'm sending him. it is a Spearco core and i did the end tanks.
the other smaller ones were for a customer.

Shiv is making his own IC's havent seen them yet but i'm sure they will be perfect!
