Default FS: Mich. Pilot Sport 225/45x17 feeler

Hey all,

I'm looking to do the switch to All-Seasons. As a result, I'm planning to sell my Pilot Sports. I purchased them used with rims with 90% tread left. I've driven about 400 miles on them, should still be a ton of tread left. I can take pics when I get home. Looking for local pickup, NoVA area. This is more of a feeler thread I guess.

edit: pics

note: only the tires are for sale.

looking for roughly 300ish/OBO

I'm somewhat interested, Do you know if they are better than the re070s?

I was thinking of buying wheels and tires but still haven't found anything I liked and nobody has anything in stock

How about listing where you are located in your profile? Easier than having to re-read your first post to see that I missed it =)

I am also interested.

fixed profile. happy now? Had I known there was this much interest, I wouldn't have continued to drive on them lol.

Officially, here is how the story goes. I didn't think there was much interest so I took them to Craven Auto Tire by Wegmans. They said that the amount of tread left is 5 (some unit) and that 2-3 means replace. Keep in mind I've only driven on them for a month and the previous owner said it was at about 90%. That means there was significantly less tread on the tires than he said there was. He also said that the previous driver must have cornered pretty hard a good amount. After hearing all this, I decided that it'd be really hard to find a buyer, so I really didn't care too much for this thread anymore. However, if after hearing all that, you are still interested, lemme know. I'll appear at a NoVA meet one of these days, I'm still really weirded out about meeting a bunch of strangers from some online forum.

^^^ We're a lot more normal in person though =)

And I'll give you a ride in the RSTi if you show up and introduce yourself =)

You should come to the Mt. Airy meet this week to see scoobyimprza off and see his finished JDM swap.

I really wish I had a swap like you. Mt. Airy is simply too far for me to go in rush hour traffic.
