Default Armrest Extension for 06 STi?

Just got my 06 STi. Could really use a better armrest for the right arm. I have found an extension for 05 STi, but nothing for an 06. Anybody know of something for the 06?

Is this simply a new cover that reattaches using existing hardware?

I have an 06 as well and was thinking of getting this .

check the path of your arm while shifting and note how close to the current arm rest it is, or go to the dealer and sit in / go thru the gears of a car with the armrest ext in it. I ordered the extension for my 06 and it was too tall for me, my elbow hit it while shifting, unless I raised my elbow straight up.

just my $0.01 worth to save you some trouble

05 and 06 share the same armrest extension

People actually use arm rests while they drive ?

I thought that accessory was to provide more storage space. I remember reading a few posts from people who thought it got in the way.
