Thumbs down AVOID! Speedway Subaru-Indianapolis

These guys are jerks. Service department is terrible!!! Only one subaru mechanic for a dealership that sells a couple hundred subs a year! Service advisor tells one story (and usually doesn't know what he is talking about) , service manager another, don't know which one is lying. Calls are left on hold forever, if you leave your number they won't call you back. You cannot trust anything they say! My advice, stay away. I am in the market for a new WRX, but you can be certain I will not buy or have it serviced at this place!

i second this review. this is the place i've taken my car most often (5-6 times in two years) to get my overactive cruise control fixed. to date, they still haven't fixed it. my 'el cheapo' fix was to disconnect the cruise from the throttle arm. the alternative is to wait for the cruise to mysteriously activate and kill me in heavy traffic. yay. i've also used tom wood subaru, also in indy. same song and dance. "yeah, we believe there's a problem, but we don't see it. everything looks fine from here. sorry, we can't just replace parts that we don't know are broken. so go away mr. customer."

i sure wish subaru felt good confident about their own cars to actually fix them. what good is a warranty that cannot be used?

Yeah, I don't like these guys either. Went in to look at an Outback after emailing back and forth with their internet sales guy. Got a low-ball offer for my trade saying that it was the highest they could possibly offer after he (supposedly) called other dealers in town to see what they would take it in for a trade. When he realized I wasn't biting on his offer he pretty much blew us off and went back to his computer and pretended we were no longer there. Talk about a brush-off. Today I went to Carmax and they appraised it for $1,500 more then Speedway offered.
