Question low compression pistons?

Thinking about turboing an '02 2.5 TS, but it seems the weak point of forced-induction 2.5's is the pistons... anyone know of lower compression 2.5 liter pistons and how much? thanks!

The week point of Turboed EJ25s is Engine Management. Mostly when people have to little or none.

However for absolute maximum power output a good solid set of low compression pistons are in order. If you have been following Shivs Project Impreza in Sport Compact Car, you will know that you can get plenty of power out of fully stock internals by properly tuning literally everything through good engine management.

I am anxious to see what they will do next with the car. It seems like they have pushed it as far as it will go on stock internals. What will they do next?

If you really want lower compression pistons I think ISR Performance could help you out. They also carry forged rods and stuff like that for other internal strengthening. How about a Forged Crank, Closed Deck Block, Forged Con Rods, Ported and Polished Cylinder Heads with Turbo Cams, New Rockers, and a Bored Throttle Body. That would really help make some massive power too.
