Lightbulb New GT 2.5 Owner needs advice

I just bought my firs Subaru, I love 5spd, 4WD cars! Now I need more power. I have been a Mazda mechanic for years, and know how to mod them to hell and back, but these engine are new to me, and I need a little help. How well do these engines hold up to power? What is the hp ceiling of a stock block and especially the stock trans/diff? Is the ECU
easily tuneable or must it be replaced when trying to get over 300hp? Where to start?!?

Almost all of the modifications done to the 2.5RS can be applied to the 2.5GT engine.

Since i've got a Turbo Legacy (93) mine is a lot different.

There are Turbo kits out there you should be interested in with high degrees of engine managment. The Vishnu Performance kit looks like the best for the money.

If you are looking for 300HP+ then forced induction is the only way to go.

So far there are several popular turbo kits with many success. I guess you can do a bit research and find one that you like and go with it.
