Subaru Stars exhaust

so i have 1996 subaru impreza L and i need to replace the entire exhaust system cause mines rusting out. so whats the best way to do it?? kits or single components??

kits are hard to find and expensive if i find them, yet individual components can add up.

Aftermarket would be the best most time saving/money saving way. Go stainless steel. Lasts longer than oem.

Or custom made at a shop should be much cheaper than brand/ non brand names.

Btw wrong forum

exhaust shops ARE SOOOO MUCH cheaper. a shop estimated me at 250 with a high flow cat full pipes and a flowmaster muffler. VS like 800 ish for name brand

Headers too? your running single port heads so after market stuff is gonna be hard to find if you need headers. OBX (ebay) sells a SS catback for $300 and an exhaust shop could do the rest for cheap.

Borla is the only aftermarket single port header that I am aware of and it runs $250 new but can be found used sometimes. The older versions tend to crack so be aware of what you get.

Hope that helps a little. Good luck.
