Default AP 93 octane stage 1 with Ethanol blended 94 octane gas..anybody?

Hey guys,

I'm running the Cobb AP Stage 1, 91 octane map on my STi right now.

Just wondering how safe it'd be to run the Stage 1 93 octane map, with the 94 octane ethanol blended gas from Husky.

Of course nearly everybody here is running a protune now, but I'm just talking off the shelf Cobb stage 1 map.

Would I be better off running half Shell 91 & half Husky 94?

How does octane booster work into this equation?

Thanks and sorry for the million questions!

Now with more clunks!

Go ahead and run 94.

Too much octane is fine - too little is potentially harmful.

Don't bother with bottled octane boosters. Most products raise an average tank of gas by one point. No, not 91 -> 92 but from 91 -> 91.1.
