Default Latest 20g run 11.9 @ 118**vid inside**

Video of the pass will be up shortly. This was run at Commerce, Ga dragstrip. The car is tuned by Doug/Topspeed (piloted by burnin4) for those who haven't seen the other threads.
**Vid added**

Everyone was running slow that night. A pullied 2004 Cobra couldn't trap more than 112 (on top of bad driving) on multiple passes. Heres the slip.

Congrats! Get that 60ft down to a 1.6 and you'll have an 11.7 easy! What was the temp and humidity like? You might have a few extra tenths to take off there as well when temps drop off in the Fall.

Definitely go back in a month or so for more! Great job!

It was very humid, but it started to cool to around 80 degrees towards the end which was nice. The increased torque seems to be too much for these old tires since the previous 11.7 run launched easier. They were on 18" Pirelli Corsas and they are worn. Probably some rt -615s later in the year!

jgheels car is a beast! the 11.9 run doesnt do the car any justice, the spark was busting up the entire pass. i think a quick firmware upgrade to the utec will get rid of all the top end issues (recently solved all of my top end spark problems). the car never cooled down after a 2 hour drive in atlanta traffic to the dragstrip.

seemed like a slow track, there was a viper running 13.3's all night (probably 6 pass's), as well as a 04 Cobra 2.9 pully+full exhaust running low 14's.

Are you running meth/race gas? Also how much boost are you running? Great times with that 20G, i'm sure you can shave odd a couple tenths once you drop that 60' and the temp. cools down..

I have a pump map and a C16 map. C16 for the track This last run is running closer to 24 pounds with a lot more torque. Honestly, 21 psi was enough for it to hit 11.7 with a better launch, but the car is a level stronger now. It would need new rubber to hook up a 1.7 60ft. Hopefully I'll have the vid up Sunday!

Nice!

I'm trying to get an idea what mine will run with the meth. I've only ran it once with meth and I missed 4th. Still ended up with a 12.4 missing 4th somehow.

I guess I should be high 11's on a good run.

Nah, the tune is great, Clark did it about 3 weeks ago. No need to thread jack though. I either can't drive or something else is up.

Not a thread jack at all, the more you can figure out/share about the setup the better.

Nice run man! 118 mph is pretty sweet on a 20G. And yes... Austin must be some kinda driver.

Congrats guys... And keep up the great work!

Heres the link if you want to check out my times...

How much boost were you running? What kind of gas? I'll probably be buying a new TMIC soon so we'll see if that helps.

Austin is an outstanding driver from stage to finish! I can't emphasize that enough

I've had a couple good times personally (12.2 on pump, 7.7 through the 1/8th once) but my consistency pails in comparison. Its just wasn't worth the wear and tear at this point on the car with the added torque. My one pass this past night was a total bog, 13.0 @ 114 and I just crindged after that launch, so I was one and done haha. I've never had any major issue with shifting as that run picked up 24 mph from the 1/8th to the 1/4 (which is great for this turbo), but my launches are more hit or miss now.

Thanks for all the compliments on the car, I'll hopefully have the vid up shortly

haha, cool vid! good job Mike

11.9 did not do this car any justice, it was misfiring and stumbling in 4th-5th gear. I sincerely believe this car has mid 11 sec potential all day. We'll find the misfires and hit the track again soon.

mod list? I have a 20G setup all ready and waiting to be tuned. I would like to know what boost control, injectors, intake, and front mount setup you are using.

Thanks
