Default bc racing coilovers

just got these from importimage (awsome vendor by the way) and installed them last week, the install is like any other coilover however mine came with no instructions so i wasn't sure if there was anything different that i had to do with anything.
ride is very smooth and slightly stiffer than the stock suspension as i have it on 14 in the front and 11 clicks hard on the back. it is a little bouncy over bumps larger than normal but just normal cruising it is good. Weekly Circulars are always updated whenever a new deal is live.
handling is amazing body roll is like non existant and it just handles like a gocart wanting to go faster and faster thru the turns
the bad is that they make a ton of noice clunking in the rear when i first hit the gas and when i get off the gas, i checked if it was a loose nut and everything is on there tight as hell, i'm guessing it is just the ball pillow mounts,

also the front drivers side shock makes a creak when going over any decent size bump it is kind of annoying and i'm not sure what it can be. Weekly Ads 2 is one of the quickest places to find a new ad.

so to sum it up overall they are a great setup for the money and in general, only downside that i see is all the noise that they make and the lack of instructions

i'm gonna take a few shots of the car in the next day or so, so bear with me

in response to the questions above-

Attention everyone! These are the OLD BC racing coilovers the VH series, NO LONGER sold in the US. the new BR series does not squeak, creak, or have ANY problems. they are also a little bit more $ as they have 53mm shocks and fixed cup design but they dont loosen and they last quite a bit longer! (i see people digging up this thread, and want them to know the new ones are superior, they are comperable to KW variant's!!!)

if your interested in the new BR series coilovers, then send us a PM we'll hook you up...

how to tell the difference?

THESE ARE OLD- <----OLD!!!!

THESE ARE NEW/SUPERIOR- NEW NEW NEW!!!

black/gold=new coloring

They only squeak if you don't slightly preload the springs. Some people have the springs just loose and they tend to squeak. Also make sure than the lock rings are adjusted tightly.

only solution was sending them the set back and then that leaves me with no car for a few weeks while they get back to me and i can't afford to not have a vehicle for that long

The spring rates seem a bit low - 8k/6k? The MR street versions are 10k/6k, 12k/10k for the track version...

Yeah, I have the BR series. I also got them from Josh (ImportImage). I love them. They are a nice smooth ride, but they do tend to be a little harsh with big dips in the road. Other than that the handling is amazing. There is basicly zero body roll now and the steering is much more responsive.

Oh, no problem. I don't mind helping out. They are a great product, and if I didn't think so, I'd post up a different kind of review. :-)

seriously ive had them since october, and ive been autocrossing on them, and they feel great. the quality is top notch. and havent had problems, put as much preload as you can on them, and lock everything down. i even tapped the lock rings with a screwdriver and a hammer to make sure everything was tight. i have not had to adjust the ride height since. no clunks or anything. for the price they are a great alternative even to the megan and helix coilovers.

they look nice, and they look good on that 06. Idk if I could go that low with 18x8s.

But are these coilovers better than megans?? Both around the same price.

Thanks! I plan on getting some Rota's (either Torques or Tarmac 3's) that are 18x8, but when I put them on, I will raise the car just a bit so I have the same wheel gap as I do now.
