I don`t think so its a structural part of the car. And with a crack in the window it becomes useless more of an hazard than anything else.

I got mine replaced within a day.

Why would you want to rally with your crack in the wind? What are you gonna do? Drive with your ass hanging out the window?

Ummm...yeah, I think they will allow it. I don't remember a tech session last year. But, I barely got there in time, so they could have.
