Default VF39 on MY02 with AP VF34 MAP ( Stock fuel pump and IC )

Well , it's being install as Im writing this... I couldn't find my walbro fuel pump and my sti stop mount will be installed later this month...
I saw that the VF-34 does not require bigger top mount and bigger fuel pump.
I read it through COBBTUNING.com

I was just wondering anyone else is running this setup. Will it be safe if I hit full boost?

The walbro fuel pump will be installed within a week... Is it a MUST?
If I don't have the walbro fuel pump will it damage my motor?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Well you really need to get the bigger fuel pump to push the fuel needed to take full advantage of the AP map. I know they don't say it in their notes but i believe it is a must but I would call Cobb and ask to be sure if no one else responds here. I was told it was a must when i considered this setup.

As for the bigger top mount they say specifically in their map notes to monitor EGT temps and boost for spiking. As long as you do that and have some way to tune the car if need be you would probably be ok.

Good luck.
