As longs as the offset and bolt pattern are the same (i know the bolt pattern is) you are fine. Enjoy.

The offset is way off. +38 on the Evo's Enkei wheels, +53 on the STi's BBS wheels. This is not good.

Evos have a 235, not that big of a difference. It's the actual tire a048 (iirc) that makes a difference. your wheel bearings aren't going to like you though. 17x8 +38 or whatever. oh well, subaru probably has the worst offset and wheel clearance ever. :T Also, post some pics. I figure the wheel is going to sit mad flush or poke slightly.

At least it's an '05. '04's have even weaker wheel bearings. Cornering the load is better with the greater offset...

i'd like to see pictures of this... I ordered some work meisters in 18X9 +42 and i am curious to see how far out these will stick... (mine will stick out another 3/16 inch) do you have any rubbing? are you lowered at all? what camber are you using?

Are those the ultra-slick Ricky Ricardo seats you speak of?

those are nice seats. But fixed back seats are way sweeter than reclineable ones...

it's recaro, not recardo... and a +35/+38 offset is goin to stick out farther than a +42.. there's guys that run +35 offset with subies and it looks fine. you just need to set up your camber correctly. but it is bad for the wheel bearings. a +38 is pushing your luck to,but not quiet as bad

So you post some random, pistureless thread about evo wheels on an STI and then disappear? Are we ever going to hear from this guy again? I don't think he has evo wheels OR an STI? TROLL! Way to waste a lot of people's time with your BS thread.
