Question JUN AVCS 272's + JUN Vernier Pulley's?

Hi,

Can anyone help with some advice on the new JUN 272 AVCS cams + AVCS vernier pulley's?

Build is an EJ257 with 2.0lt, MY02 Sti, small port, AVCS heads.

I have a set of these cams in a build and they look fine; oil drillings in the same place as the OEM cams, etc. The exhaust cam pulleys are non AVCS as would be expected. The problem is that there appears to be no way that the inlets will accept oil flow to alter the timing. They were purchased on JUN's recommendation and I just assumed they would need some of the OEM internals to be transferred to make them function. JUN say they are not meant to have any oil flow but have not explained how they work.

Any help would be much appreciated as I'm

Thanks,
Callum

First I've heard of JUN AVCS cams. I'd be pleased if you did find someone with experience on these forums.

Maybe all of the better builders in the US are now using Kelfords like Ron at Axis? Perhaps I should have done the same as I'm struggling to get the info I need from JUN despite phoning and emailing

Kelford, Cosworth, and DPR. Cobb is supposed to have AVCS cams soon too.

I think if you can post a picture up in the 2.5L forum you might get some action. If I can post a pick of the stock AVCS cams or my DPR cams I will. Maybe some us can understand what you need better then.

I know Jun had cams that would fit into the USDM AVCS heads, but did not function with AVCS. There's a thread on it somewhere here. I kind of remember it being a vendor thread.

As you know, you definitely need oil to advance those cams dynamically.

I heard Cosworth purchased Kelford cams. Anybody else hear that?
