Default 93 octane gas in CA?

is there any where to buy 93 in the great ol state of california? and how much does it run

Nope, 91 is the best your going to get from a station my friend. We have the worst gas here in california an it's just something to get used to. Now you can mix to get a 93 octane fuel but it' a lot of work. Just use the 91 and get a good tune.

I saw an AM-PM gas station and convinance store on Highway 86 near Thermal, California (South of Palm Springs near the Salton Sea), that had a sign which stated Racing Gasoline. I don't recall the rating, and the price per gallon was not provided.

Several years ago there was a Dayco Fuels outlet in Wilmington or Long Beach. As far as pricing is concerned expect to pay 3x the price of pump gas.
