Not awd, but you can stuff a 5.0 into a miata for far less than $20k.

Shoot, you can get a motor, tranny, conversion kit, and car for right around $10k. It only adds about 200 pounds to a stock miata.

It's a cool little car though, and AWD would make it somewhat more practical around here for the rainy months.

How much does that throw off the weight balance though? With a car that small and light, I'd think that 200lbs up front would hurt a bit.

But to stay on topic, I'd hit it.

Yeah, but all done at the end of the day, it's still a Miata. They are the ghey. Corky Romano drove one.

Hey, I give props to the Miata. If it weren't for the Miata we probobly wouldn't have any fun, affordable, good handling roadsters in North America. in essence it kind of opens the door for cars like the Murtaya. And I've had plenty of them kick my A$$ at the autox.

Very true. Worked with a guy who had a 5.0 stuffed Miata. VERY fast car and had a wicked rumble to it. Had nasty bump steer, though, which is apparently a problem with v8 Miata's.
