can't sleep so decided to post it now.
got it from a graffiti store the paint is super nice. very heavy. sticks perfectly. its by Beat. the color is pulsar pink.very close to the jdm cbr |

To take the badge off I've found that after heating it up use either dental floss or fishing line. Heat it up and just work your way through. A lot less risk as opposed to use something like a screwdriver or knife.

Crazy how much flare simply changing your badge up can add to your car. Definitely an awesome thread and cool DIY project. Really contemplating it now!

3m double stick molding tape. basically the same as stock.

So After 2 fails I give up, cracked both attempting to get the crome out. The crome is nearly impossible to get off the 02 badge. Im gonna go buy an 03 badge....

I saw this post and knew right away this was a mod I wanted to do. I originally tried using paint thinner but after much rubbing, no results. I had rubbing alcohol close by so I decided to try that. Bad choice. It hazed the plastic and caused it to crack.
SO, I went to Perry Subaru and got a new badge. I used goof off this time around and that worked perfectly. I tried my best to match the blue of the badge to the car and its close enough for me. |

The chrome ring and the clear plastic is separate on the new one as well.
