Default 615 vs. re01r

Which would you choose for autox; 615 or RE01R?

Car info
2002 WRX Wagon
Rota slipstream 17x8
Ground control coilover sleeves, lowered about half way down in the back, more in the front
Tire size 235 40 r17 (I hope it won't rub)

I've searched and read several opinions, but the RE01R is still pretty new so opinions are few. Any opinions will help.

615s have been proven to work well in AX by a lot of people, even non-Suby crowd. Price compared to the RE01Rs are very noticeable. I believe Tire rack had a few reviews on the RE01Rs so you might want to check there.

If you're going to use the tire for road used also, I know the 615s handles water better then RE070s. If RE01Rs are similar to the RE070's characteristcs, I wouldn't go with the REs then.

I had a set of 615s worn to almost at the indicator bar and going over shallow puddles of standing water at highway speeds is very easily managed.
