Default whats better?

What would look better and stick out further? A volk ce28n 5x100 18x8.5 with a 40mm offset. Or the same wheel but a 17x9 with a 43 offset?

Cause i think the lower the offset the further away it is from the hub.

So what would actually look better?

And trust me im getting some skinny a** tires cause im about to be runnin Bc coilovers so I wanna avoid rubbing.

So you're getting skinny tires on wide wheels?

Yeah, I was going to go with something more obnoxious, but I refrained.

Seriously, why bother with wide wheels if you're not go to get the wide tires to fit them? I think you'd be very happy with something like a 17x8, +48 with a 235/40-17 or maybe evn a 245/401-7 tire.

The edge of the 17x9 will be ~9mm farther out.

o ok. So what do you think would look better?

And I actually have a question about another wheel too. On vividracing they have em. Those DPE's are sweet but extremely expensive. But ive never seen any on a suby. And the other ones I was liking was those JLines omg with the polished lip. But how wide do you think I could run, like a 17x9 or even 10 maybe? Cause wheels make a car look soo much better and different would be cool. But ill probably end up getting the volks.

....d00000000d....do yourself a BIG-HUGE favor and stay as FAR away from Vivid as you can and tell all your friends the same thing.

Vivid was banned as a vendor from this site FOR MANY GOOD REASONS---TOO MANY

...and beware trying to be 'koo' and 'different'.......ya may waste a GREAT DEAL of $$$ on the futility of it all.

thanks for the heads up. I know man, I dont wanna be like too different. I just want some good looking wheels. I mean Im gonna find out if they fit and everything first obviously.

I didnt know vivid was banned or ever on this site.lol. O well. ANd I was just saying that they had the DPE wheels on there.

But hey, I am really liking these J LINE wheels. And i just learned what a step lip is and a reverse (flat) lip is. But I honestly dont think Im a good candidate for nice expensive wheels. One being there too much money and two Id probably mess them up doing something stupid.

Wow, I see so many people down on Vivid Racing on here. What did they do that ultimately caused them to be banned?

...just start a list of bad things that a vendor COULD do.....after the list is a couple pages long---go get a beer and think some more.....and add some more....

....and that would be a good start to all the BS...
