jipped!?
i got my car tuned but the tuner never gave me a straight answer on what EM he used. I know you guys will tell me to contact him but i thought i would ask you guys first. It felt ALOT faster than when i brought it in with my spt intake w/ heatshield, perrin tbe, and perrin ebcs. I was also hitting 8.7 lbs. when i got the 04' STI. when i put the perrin ebcs on i was hitting 12lbs. still not stock. i believe it was from the exhaust and not having it tuned. when i got the car back i was hittin 18 lbs and holding it till redline. i loved the car but i still dont understand how he did or if he even did it. I am a noob i understand but i would just like someone to explain this whole thing to me.

Why don't you just ask the person who tuned your car? You're not providing much information about the problem, other that there is one.
If you only got 8-some psi to start, something is physically wrong before you even got it tuned. Stock boost is about 14.5psi midrange. Since we don't know what the original problem is or was, there is little chance we'll give you a good answer by guessing wildly without ever having seen your car. |
