Let's JDM styling!

Default photoshopped the Evo X

For no reason I had a go at photoshopping the Evo X. I actually like the look of the new Evo X and think it's hot... it's just too luxury Acura TL/Audi feeling... I can't look at it and automatically think "GT35r and 2.3L stroker"

So yeah this is my attempt to make it more mad evo-ish... which is you know right up my alley

Evolution X GS-R

RALLIART RA-1

RALLIART Tommy Makinen Edition TME-400

This was just for fun and I know Mitsu is probably pretty set in the next gen Evo looking like the Evo X proto... at least its supposed to have a 4G63T

Actually, the report from SCC Magazine is that Mitsu is ditching its tried and true 4G63T motor for the new 4B11T... And supposedly forcasted to be a nightmare to mod due to the DSG flappy-paddle shifters and all the computers that control the car.

Great job man! Your art definately brings the Evo flavor back in the direction of how we all view the EVO. Where did you find the source material to get the wheels in the correct perspective. Also great job on all the other details. I mean even all the lighting on the changes you've made seemed to match! Do you use photoshop for your career?

I read some where that the paddle shifter was only going to be on the automatic version.

But, I really like the look. If I had the extra money, I would park it next to the subaru.

They look great - the only thing I don't like about the front is that the sides of the intercooler are exposed. Now it's not that I don't like that look -- it's just something that would change it from looking like it's modified by the owner to making it look like it came that way from the factory. Cover the ends of the intercooler and I think it'd be pretty spot on.

It's not that I think the endtanks exposed looks bad, it just doesn't look like something a modern car company would put out these days. That's all. It still looks mean as hell.
