Default md321t on 2l (2.5l dyno also)

interesting hybrid turbo. sounds like it's a garret gt chra, p18 exhaust housing.

pretty impressive results, imho--a nice balance of response and power. still trying to figure out what it'd translate to in US WHP numbers, but seems like it's around 400.

the 2.5 plot looks to be down atm, but it netted similar power output to the 2.0 at slightly lower rpms, as expected.

Looks like the dyno is in shootout mode, so the numbers are probably about 20% high, or about 380whp. Still pretty unreal for a 2L... but 27psi of boost will do that. Good stuff!

Is this wheel horsepower? I read a vendor's website about this turbo and they say its good for 450bhp.

afaik, this is NOT a twinscroll setup, since i know for a fact it uses the p18 housing (mentioned in the 22b thread).

0.825 5th
4.44 diff
assume circumference of 79"

3000 rpm
3000/0.825 = 3636rpm driveshaft
3636/4.44 = 819rpm halfshaft
819rpm*79" = 64701 in/min
64701in/min / 63360in/mi = 1.02mi/min
1.02mi/min * 60min/hr = 61mi/hr

6300 rpm
6300/0.825 = 7636rpm driveshaft
7636/4.44 = 1720rpm halfshaft
1720rpm*79" = 135872 in/min
135872in/min / 63360in/mi = 2.14mi/min
2.14mi/min * 60min/hr = 129mi/hr
