Thumbs up Subaru of Santa Cruz Service Department

Well all know the dealership to be a honest and reputable one. But what really impresses has to be the service department. They are all kind, courteous and professional. I believe the service department is the greatest factor in any dealership. After all the process of buying a car takes but a few hours in one day. Where as service, warranty or upgrades, what have you... takes considerably longer and is much more frequent.

I recently (today) had to take my 2000 2.5 RS to get service because my wheel bearings went out... actually so badly they damaged the hub. They gave me a rental and I was on my way. Throughout the day Mark Schultz kept me apprised of my cars status and what they were doing and how long they would take. Later on I was notified that due to the extensive damage they would need to order a new hub. Not a part they have in stock, or one that was kept by another dealer near by. So they then told me that they would keep my car and that the rental was now a loaner. Completely covered under warranty. Just thought I would give a local dealership due credit as they are always on the ball.
