Default 06 USDM WRX with JDM Ver. 8 6spd

I know what is necesarry to make the JDM Tranny work in an 02-05 WRX. WIll it be the same into an 06? Will I run into problems with the push/pull clutch? Some say no problem others say there could be problems with the push/pull clutch. I called Andrewtech and whoever I spoke to said he honestly didn't know? Is this some type of mystery I am gonna have to spend a ton of money a frustrations on? Anyone know someine with a 6spd in an 06 WRX?

There was a someone who posted pics of a black tr that had a 6 sped swap but i cant find the post. Its the tr that is on the ultimate racing page.

U got a ppg box correct? I would hate to spend so much money on ppg gears and be frced to use the crappy subaru syncros.

With all the work done to that car, i'd say he probably did a complete pull type clutch/tranny swap...

The problem is a) the clutch fork moves the opposite direction, so you'll need a different master/slave setup and b) whatever clutch fork you do end up using might not work with the push clutch throwout bearing.

Seeing how there is only 6 aftermarket clutch option out there for the push clutch, and it flexes more than a pull style, if you're really set on a 6 speed you should just go for the full clutch/tranny swap...

I planned on buying the Transmission Clutch Flywheel and Slave. As far as the clutch will I need anything else?
