Default 2006 Saab 9-2X Aero

Bought new in September 06. Car is silver with 5 speed, sport package, leather package, xenon headlights, just hit 2700 miles. Come with first two years of free maintainence (or 24K miles, which ever comes first). Car was 31,415 when I bought it, looking for 23,500.

I am located in South Florida, but may be willing to deliver depending on location.

They actually are a hard sell...with the discounts GM offered (up to $5000 off ticket price), the used car market for them is very slim...its often someone not up to date up GM's policy or someone seeking a specific trim that buys them. While you're price isn't bad for a Sabb with 2700 miles, its a little high for a rebadged Subaru. I'd lower the price a bit. Actually, I'd keep it for longer and enjoy it if I were you!

I work part-time as a dealer and go to the auctions and see what these things go for (at the auctions and once they are on the lot), so I'm not speculating on my part Good luck man and the car looks great!

See what I mean. The homo's at saab92x.com can't leave me alone. Maybe they are infatuated with me.

^^ im with superman. Gm is offer 5K dollar discount on NEW saabs AND are offering 5 year/80K mile warranty with no extra cost.

i am quite interested. price is just not what i want to pay for a used one. and i understand that it sucks to get nothing near what you want to for a car that is basically brand new. I suggest keeping it and enjoying it?

major reasons for selling it?

this would make a good winter car to go with my summer slaab

Don't feel so bad...have you seen the used Legacy market? Same deal - cars stickered at 30gs and up and used ones are lucky to see 20gs. The guys at Legacygt.com are not nice about it either.

Not sure how many new ones are left. This car was discontinued for 07 and there weren't very many 06's made. The car is fully optioned, I think most people that say they paid $XX,XXX are comparing a car with a lot less options. In the end I don't care if it sells or not. I do enjoy driving it, but I don't drive it much so if someone wants it a decent price, I will sell. And if someone is genuinely interested, make an offer and I will consider it.

There's a certain few I'm not quite too sure about over there but otherwise, I think the rest are alright.

At the auto auctions I can buy a 2005 Legacy GT with a manual transmission, mileage less than 20k for around 16K-17K, maybe even less, I haven't bid on one lately. Its not just Subarus, its the entire market. The only cars seeming to consistently sell are any year of Lexus ES300, BMW X5s, and a few others. Hell, I picked up a 2001 BMW 3 series (65K miles) with fully loaded with a sunroof, leather, heated seats, manual tranny for $6500!

Anyways, the car this guy is selling looks beautiful and will def turn heads to its new owner! I'd list it for sale in your local paper or on craigs list!

The cats over at saab92x.com are pretty familiar with the resale market on these and they think you're out-of-line in your asking price. They're right. That hardly gives you a right to question their sexual orientation. How do I know they're right? My father owns the same car you do (in black) and he payed 23k for it. New. With 60 miles on it.

If you paid 31,4 you made a mistake. Selling a car you put 2700 miles on is a mistake. If you want people to point out your mistakes in a gentle, kind, caring, positive manner then you probably don't want to open yourself up to internet forums, son.

Cheers,

--e

edit: full disclosure - I own the same car without leather or sport (by choice). The '06 does have the 2.5L. The car is beautiful and I would easily tell anyone to buy one, just not for 6k more than it's worth.
