hate to say it, since it's a very nice sti, but you will not get $32k for it... especially if it's been modified.

ps - where do you get off asking $630 for blizzaks with 5000 miles of use? you can buy VR-rated ones in the stock sti size BRAND NEW for that price (including shipping)!

ya, i'd have to agree with this guy.... your car is beautiful though but i just bought mine brand new for less than 32k. try putting it on ebay, someone there might buy it for 32.

Thanks for your input chicken n waffles. I'm very interested in any and all feedback!

For the blizzaks, as with every other part, I have listed the original cost. I did not attempt to assess value of each item based on use - and those aren't the price for each item if i was to part it out. It's only what the value was at point of purchase. Sorry for this confusion.

For the value of the car, I'm not sure I totally agree with you. yes, there are some bolt-on mods that I have listed - a very small list at that. Considering everything I have done to the car, save for the shaved badges, is instantly and easily reversible - I wouldn't really consider the car "modified". But even still, with a KBB of 29K bone stock + the oem options and warranty + at least 3K worth of after market additions... i don't think 32K is an unfair asking price...

you assume, wrongly so, that modifications instantly and purely equate to increased value. what you fail to realize is that modifications void warranties (parts, at least), not to mention any wear and tear associated with said modifications, and the car's stock parts themselves after 8800 miles of driving. most importantly, we have no idea if this car has really been babied or not. sure, folks can give it a look over and possibly have a mechanic inspect it, but when you boil it down we really have no idea if you've beaten the crap out of it or not (unless you really did something stupid).

While I agree that it's a fair concern to have, I'm not quite sure what else you would expect me to provide to help convince you, being you don't personally know me or my car.

I expect at least a few members here, who I will now ask to chime in, can vouch for my responsible driving and extreme care of the car. In fact, I've received nothing but criticisms for the extreme care I've given this car - everything from "sure is pretty.... in your driveway!" to "it's a car, not a diamond!"

To be fair, would you agree that you can NEVER really have an idea if a car has been babied or not unless you were in the car every minute of it's life? This is something that just must be taken at a seller's words and then supported by the condition of the car as well as any testimonials that can be provided. I have been the sole owner and carer of this car, so in addition to a buyers inspection of the car, the provided paperwork that I have and answering any questions or requests of a potential buyer - my word is really the best I can give, no?

Considering the car has seen an average of 550 miles per month (due to a few road trips to upstate NY and DC, it's actually quite lower), it truly does looks showroom quality both inside and out and I have provided all documents, paperwork and details that I can think to provide - I really don't know what else I could do to further convince you that what I say is true and what your buying is nothing short of what I say.

If you have any further suggestions, I am open ears! I expected the highest level of criticism on these forums, as there are tons of other drivers on here with the same car and the same passion. So I don't take your words as offensive, but rather suggestive!

However, I do have to note that you drive the same car, much more modified, in a state hours away. So if you're not here as a potential buyer, then I ask you remain a helpful suggester rather then a thread hijacker

that reinforces my point. buyers will never know for sure if it's really been babied or not, which is why you need to factor this into your asking price. setting it too high will scare folks off. scams, misinformation, and other ill-advised selling tactics are everywhere. note: i am NOT assuming you are one of these people.

i think you misunderstand my intent. i'm not trying to hijack your thread. it's an awesome car and it LOOKS great. i'm trying to keep the interests of potential buyers in mind. that's all. anyway, carry on and good luck with the sale.

Thanks for the great response Chicken. I will take your recommendations into consideration! I probably should of also indicated that my price is up for negotiation.

Here's some more pics:

Radar Video 1
Radar Video 2

The radar display has since been VERY cleaned up and looks like it always belonged there. It is mounted behind a tinted face plate that matches to stock OEM clock yet also displays the clock.

Well I really wish he wasn't selling, but Eddie took better care of this car then some people do for their kids. The car is super clean inside and out, and the radar install is one of a kind. Anyone who wants to avoid the uglyness of the 08's should jump on this as soon as possible! Dont be forced to drive what looks like a Corolla if you want an STi in the near future.

Bump for a great seller and very understanding guy. I was going to grab this but fell short a couple grand. He was very easy to talk to and work with and even gave me a bit of extra time to try and get money together.

Someone grab this car, it is a very solid deal!

Thanks Ed, and good luck with the sale,
Mike

thanks for the kind words Mike.

She's still for sale and i will probably be selling off some parts to return her to stock status! Anyone interested in any parts except the V1 (that stays with the car) - feel free to ask any questions!

Is 27K with none of the "optional Modifications" tempting? I'm looking for something for 25, but that warranty is worth 2k to me. IM me back.

ImportImage - PM me what price your thinking and we'll talk. There are a few people bidding on the car right now as a whole package. But if they all fall through, I would part out the few mods on it and lower the price some.

AMS - what other information are you looking for? PM me and we'll discuss it.

Thanks again.
