Default Mileage

Howdy All!
I was wonder how many miles everyone is putting on their cars?
I drive around 8 miles one way to work. And 150 extra miles a week for work. But my weekend trips are the high mileage trips.
Bought the car August 22, 2001 and have 10k on it already. Pondering the thought of getting a low dollar car to use for my weekend trips, but love driving my too much...turbo addiction..

I say just drive it and enjoy it. There is no reason to get another car for your weekend trips. Do you really want to save up mileage for the next owner? As for me, I only average 10 miles a day on my 2.5RS. My nine years old truck only has 50K miles on it.

These cars were meant to be driven!!! Unless it is a lease or something, why buy a new car then look for an old one to avoid driving it?

I agree this post is miss placed too!

Highway trips are easier on the car. So, if you maintain it, it will last longer if you do put a lot of miles on it.

I have about 300K miles on one of my SAABs. Still going strong.
