Default breakin period for a stage 1 clutch?

Guys I just bought a Exedy stage 1 clutch with an ACT streetlite flywheel. I was wondering what the break in period was for these 2 goodies?

Id personally give it 500 miles. take it easy, dont slam gears, but you can do some wot on a roll in the middle of a gear to redline.

The info that came with the clutch specifically states it has a 500 mile break-in period. I know, because I installed the same setup in my wagon over the weekend.

what should the clutch feel like during the break in period? I just installed an exedy stage 1 with a gruppe s flywheel and IO am getting a lot of chatter from the clutch. Is this normal or did I get a bad clutch?

Whew! Thank you so much, I thought something was really wrong. I have noticed that it gets better as the clutch heats up. Thanks!

yeah, it`s wierd. It seems like when it`s cold it`s okay, but then when it warms up it starts to chatter from a stop. It seems like it is a bit better then it was the day I installed it, but it is still there. I just drove it another 50 miles today and it`s not as bad. I will keep driving it and who knows, maybe it will go away. I would`nt mind too much to pull it all back apart if I had a definative answer, but I have gotten all kinds of responses such as ; warped flywheel, did you resurface the flywheel, don`t resurface the flywheel, it`s because of a light weight flywheel, it`s the input shaft and TOB , the disc was`nt installed evenly. Ugh!!!
