Default New: Prosport Headers

New from Prosport, this combo header/up pipe is really nicely finished, with all-stainless steel construction, reinforced cast flanges, and great-looking precision TIG welds. Details like expansion joints and a cast collector make this header stand out. The three-bolt header-to-up pipe flange reduces the likelihood of annoying leaks, compared with conventional two-bolt connections.

Now in stock.

Prosport Header/Up Pipe -- Click Me!

Click the link for more info, pricing, and to order.

Oh, and to finish off your new header, we have a new exhaust wrap kit. Just like the brand-name kit, but about half the price.

Exhaust Wrap Kit -- Click Me!

Again, click the links for pricing and ordering. But feel free to cluelessly ask, "What is the price?" because that bumps our thread...

Here's a dyno graph. I bolted the headers to our shop '05 Legacy GT, with no other changes.

Free bump for this heat wrap kit. I just priced the warp, spray, and snap straps along with the 2"x50' wrap, all Thermotec (which I suspect is this kit's OEM). Dan's price is fantastic, the cheapest price on 2"x50' is in the neighborhood of the $40-$50 price range, the spray is $15, and the snap straps are $27. With two rolls of wrap Dan kicks everyone's ass in pricing and I'll be ordering a kit when I get paid next.

You'll probably need two kits. The headers will take about two rolls. The downpipe and the up pipe will take a bit more than one roll.

Can you email all the pics/dyno graph and pricing to me at [email protected] as my internet out here has teh suck (I have pictures turned off as the take an eternity) and I'd like to update my Header FAQ with this. Also, please include in that email if Prosport is the same Prosport as in Prosport Gauges and the website for Prosport if applicable.

P.S. I hit Scotland in 4 days and I'll email you about that inflatable sheep you wanted.

Ditto plus gaskets to 30062, as well as price (or capability) to weld a 44mm gate flange on the uppipe. I can email you pics of my existing custom EWG uppipe (cracked) for flange placement. I already have the gate and dump tube.

Would I need to get a new oil pan if I put this on my 2006 WRX? Also, would you guys be able to wrap and spray the headers for me?

Okay: For shipping prices, add the item to your cart, and then begin the checkout process. The site will quote prices to the U.S. AND Canada. Just select "Ground to Canada" or "Worldwide Expedited" if you're in Canada. Select UPS Ground or Second Day Air if you're in the U.S.

As for the 44mm gate, sorry, I'm not gonna do that. There's too much risk for getting it wrong, and then where are we? You've got something that doesn't fit, and you're not happy with me. Nor are we going to wrap your headers; too time consuming, and if I charged you all the labor it would take you'd never buy it.

So buy the headers, get your custom work done locally, and we'll all be happy as pigs in...we'll all be happy.

I've never had this happen to me. because i wouldn't heat wrap a header on a street car, but i have seen many crack due to heat wrap on the web. theres a reason why manufacturers wont provide a warranty for wrapped headers or jet coated, because of the added heat fatigue... Now if you guys carry your warranty on a wrapped header then thats great. I have a gt spec header which looks to be the same as yours and i love it... i prob will pick up some heat wrap for my downpipe tho. great price on the heat wrap kit.
