Default UR T3/04S tuned

Here is the end result of the tune, tuned @19psi keep in mind these # may appear low but that was due to the type of dyno it is on. The dyno was a (German MAHA LPS 3000) which I was told reads numbers lower than everyone elses but is probably more acurate. I still have a couple of small things to work out.

My engine mods are:

ECUTEK
UR T3/T04S kit
Tial 38mm WG dump
Tial 52mm BOV
Full 3" Hks exhuast no cat
Perrin FM
PE 850cc
Walbro 255lph
One step colder plugs

Here is the UR graph for comparison to mine

05 STi (Red/Blue)

- Stock 2.5L Engine
- Ultimate Racing T3/T04S Turbo Kit
- Ultimate Racing Version II Front Mount Intercooler (Fits both rotated and bolt-on setups!)
- Ultimate Racing 3" Cat-Back Exhaust
- Ultimate Racing 900cc Top Feed Rail and Injector Kit
- Walbro 255lph Pump
- Hallman Manual Boost Controller @ 20psi
- TiAL BOV
- 93 Octane

04 STi (Orange/Green)

- Stock 2.5L Engine
- Ultimate Racing GT35R Turbo Kit
- Ultimate Racing Version I Front Mount Intercooler
- Ultimate Racing 3" Cat-Back Exhaust
- Ultimate Racing 900cc Top Feed Rail and Injector Kit
- Walbro 255lph Pump
- JoeP Manual Boost Controller @ 20psi
- HKS SSQV BOV
- 94 Octane

94oct @19psi

And here is another dyno plot on Lachutes dyno of a stock 2007 STI with DP, exhaust and ecutek tune for comparisson of there dyno vs others Mustang ect.

Due to the size of my setup ecutek was the only way they could do it(from the tuners mouth), I think this is due to the fact they have more experience with ecutek vs Cobb but I could be wrong. I think the setup has more in it but I would like to keep things safer than run it on the edge and have more power.

I will be adding TGV deletes at the end of summer and some other small mods to help aid in spool up and flow.

Please feel free to bash and add educated opinions.

The kit went together well, all I needed to do is show up and get tuned. For the do-it yourselfer. ULTIMATE RACING IS THE WAY TO GO. Now I just have to learn how to drive all over again while someone is kicking me in the pants.

Doug at Topspeed just did mine. I have the UR T3/04E kit (388awhp). Still got to get Tray to e-mail my dyno sheet. Got to love Ultimate Racing FTW!

looks nice! Enjoy the new-found power

As for why Ecutek was the only way they could do it, Im not sure why that should be the case...

Maybe has something to do with Lachutte being the North American distributor of Ecutek? I could be wrong though...

The Maha dyno is the ultimate heartbreaker, but about as nice a dyno as you will find. What the Maha says is the corrected power at the flywheel is what an average Dynojet will say is to the wheels. That is a 400 whp car on a Dynojet or a Dynapak. Nice!

well at least now, when people ask, he can say he has about 400Hp at the crank, then go to perform better than the numbers suggest

Thanks for the comments. Yeh I guess I can say it's a sleeper then. I really have to learn how to drive it all over again. When driving and rolling out of first gear at WOT when I hit boost I have to shift as soon as boost hits because redline comes retarded fast. If I don't shift then it is too late. But the rest of the gears is ok, just have to keep a better eye on the road now due to the power.

Lets just say at 4000rpm you better hold on! I can't really give a better answer untill I put a few miles on it and learn how to drive it better. But for daily driver it is the ****. I can stay of the boost through all gears easier now and if you select the proper gear look out.

Still working out a few bugs, having some issues with the maf during cooler ambient temps. This is a more recent dyno sheet as we are still tweaking @21psi. The car was really hot as it was being tuned for about 3hrs before I pulled these #'s. So if it was a bit cooler I am sure the #'s would be better and this was one of the last runs of the day.

It is extremely tight in the passenger fender well. Could use some re-engineering of that one pipe from the throttle body other than that it is mint.
