Default Product Review Master Thread

So far I have created three threads for reviewing different products:

Headunits
Amplifiers
Speakers

I think the response has been pretty good, so I'll be making some more in the coming weeks, at least a subwoofer, accessory, and shop/vendor/best buddy purchase and install experience thread. If there is interest, I'll do a GPS thread, or whatever people want. I kind of figure this thread is a free for all: ask questions, post up requests, discussion (please no arguing/flaming), etc. But please, no reviews in this thread. Please give me feedback on the other threads as well.

I'll try to get this sticked so the review threads aren't so hard to find after a couple of weeks, and update this post with new links/info.

Not a bad idea, I'll throw that on list of to-dos.

Hrmm, must add keywords to help crappy forums search engine...

HU, headunit, amplifier, amplifiers, amps, speaker, speakers, review, reviews, help, feedback, suggestion, suggestions, reports, experience, have used, audio products.

That's all I can think of for now.

Well, no idea how this will pan out for a sticky in this section, but I have included the links to these threads under the first question of the FAQ in my Car Audio manifesto.

LastResort, I wanted to suggest that in your review threads you should add a suggestion that people put their experience level in the review.

Someone who has been around speakers a lot is going to give a different review than someone who hasn't.

You'll hear a set of JL Components and give a comparitive review without knowing it because you've probably heard tons of different speakers. Where as someone else will hear a pair of JL components and be like ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG only having heard the factory muddy speakers as a comparison.

I know that self rating experience is not an exact science. But it would help. Maybe a scale. Audio Experience: None, Little, Moderate, Expert -- you get the idea
